After School Activities:
The SET meeting will be tomorrow from 2:40-4pm in Portable 7. See you there!
Cookie Club signed ups start today. Look for the sign-up sheet outside of Room 132. Cookie Club will meet the Monday after mid-winter break. You must have an ASB card/sticker and the cost is $5. See you there!
There will be a quick yearbook meeting today after school. Yearbook Club members who can't make it, I just need you to come in and sign up for a new photo assignment.
Tickets for the February 11th ASB dance go on sale today through Wednesday (2/10). Dance tickets are $4 without an ASB sticker, and $3 with an ASB sticker. If you need a replacement id card, they are $5. If you have detention YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO GO TO THE DANCE so do not buy a ticket.
Listen up, students assigned to ACT! ACT will be divided by grade level beginning next Tuesday, February 9th. Room assignments are:
Valentine's Day is coming up! Do you have a card for that special someone? If not, come on over to St. Matthew's tomorrow after school. You can make a candy i-Pod valentine, or create something unique of your own. If you've already got a card, stick around and play some Guitar Hero or the Wii. See you there!
Hey McKnight Lancers!! Do you ever feel like you write and write for Language Arts and no one ever sees it or cares? If you do, then we have the answer for you! On February 24th, McKnight will be hosting its first ever McKnight Writes Night! This will be an evening of entertainment, writing exploration, presentations of student work, and of course, refreshments! All Language Arts teachers are participating in this and you are working on writing in Language Arts that will be published for parents to see. McKnight Writes Night will begin at 7:00pm and last until 8:30. Join us in the fun!
Wrestling Forms are due by noon, today, in the Attendance Office. There will be a meeting in Room 509 after school today. Come meet the new coaches and get information on the upcoming season!
Elective Class Fees are now due for 2nd semester. If you have not paid for your Class Fee now is the time to pay. Tech Ed $10, Consumer Science $25, Art Fee $20, and Computer Fee $2. If fees are not paid by Feb. 12th, students will be placed on the fine list. You may pay your fines and fees at the Attendance Office.
Bike Club is starting up soon! There will be an informational meeting for students and parents on Tuesday, February 23rd, at 7pm in the Commons. See Mr. Bowdle Room 317 for questions.
Lunch for Tuesday, February 9th: Dijon Chicken Patty Sandwich, Quesadilla, or Chicken Dippers with Rice, with Salad Bar, choice of fruit and vegetable, and milk.
