Do you like to create, design, and try new things? Maker Club is open to all students who love making stuff! From arts & crafts like knitting and crocheting to 3D printing, laser engraving, and poster design, there’s something for everyone.  Mr. Huff will lead the tech side with 3D printing, poster making, and laser engraving.  Come explore your creativity and bring your ideas to life!  No ASB card required!

First day for tech activities with Mr. Huff is 9/29/25 and signups are required!  Sign up at his room ASAP.

First day of arts and crafts activities with Ms. Robinson is 9/30/25. No signups are required.

GSA is a place for LGBTQ+ members and allies to come together, get to know each other, and determine ways to make McKnight a more welcoming and supportive community for all students.

Robotics club participates in the First Tech Challenge (FTC) which is a national robotics challenge. Each year the challenge is a little bit different, but there are always several tasks that our robot needs to accomplish. We design, build, program, drive, and test our robots as we get ready for monthly competitions. Students can participate in the afterschool club only or join us at monthly weekend competitions. All are welcome - no experience necessary!  No ASB required!

Do you sometimes like to pretend you’re someone else?  Do you want to know more about that game the kids in Stranger Things play?  Then you should join McKnight’s Dungeons & Dragons Club!

Things we’re doing this year:

• Playing Dungeons & Dragons (we have books and dice!)
• Playing other RPGs (such as Dungeon World!)

Show your Lancer pride! Spirit Squad is the place to learn drill-style dance, cheer, and help promote school spirit all year long. During basketball season, the squad will perform dance routines, and for other sports seasons, we’ll bring the energy by cheering with the student section.

The MMS Buddy Club is an inclusive, school-based club for students of all abilities.  With the support of the McKnight school community, students with and without disabilities have the opportunity to participate together in social and recreational activities!  The Buddy Club provides opportunities to build student character, increase awareness and acceptance of disabilities, develop student leadership, and other skills in an inclusive, safe, and fun setting.  If you have questions or would like to sign-up, please contact Ms. Hamilton (denise.hamilton@rentonschools.us) for more information.  No ASB Required!
