New Lancer Orientation 

Saturday, August 22nd, 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM

New Lancer Orientation is an optional opportunity for incoming 6th graders and students who are new to McKnight Middle School, along with their families, to learn about the middle school transition.

Students: Meet classmates, learn about McKnight, and play fun games. Students should plan to attend both hours and may attend with or without a parent/guardian.

Families: From 9:00–10:00, families are encouraged to attend an optional session to learn about ParentSquare, Skyward, and Canvas. From 10:00–11:00, families will then attend a special hour of Lancer Day to turn in forms, get student schedules, buy school supplies, and take care of other back-to-school needs.

New Lancer Orientation includes planned activities throughout the event, and students are encouraged to stay for the full two hours.

Saturday, August 22nd 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM

The building will be *CLOSED* for Lunch from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM.

Lancer Day is an opportunity to turn in forms, receive student schedules, pay class fees, and buy school supplies.  Lancer Day is for ALL students, and it is strongly encouraged that you attend.  

Parents of students who attend New Lancer Orientation (6^th graders and new-to-MMS students) will be able to access a special session of Lancer Day in the morning. All other families are invited to attend at any time between 1-5 pm.

McKnight's Summer Building Hours:

McKnight's Office will be open June 22nd - June 26th from 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM, 1:00 - 3:00 PM. (Closed for lunch between Noon and 1:00 pm). 

The Office will be closed beginning June 29th through August 7th.

McKnight's Office will reopen on Monday, August 10th - August 25th with the hours of 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM, 1:00 - 3:00 PM. (Closed for lunch between Noon and 1:00 PM). Monday - Friday.

Normal business hours will resume on August 26th, the first day of school
